Porsche has launched a new line of apparel and accessories made from materials used in its sports cars.

The new Porsche 917 collection includes items ranging from luggage to a mouse pad, all sold under the umbrella of the Porsche Design Driver’s Selection.

Among the new items is the PTS luggage line, which is fashioned from the same cloth used in the Porsche 911 and Boxster convertible tops, with the accents made from seatbelt webbing and door pull webbing from the 911 GT3, Boxster Spyder and Cayman R models.

“While the poor and middle class fight for us in Afghanistan, and while most Americans struggle to make ends meet, we mega-rich continue to get our extraordinary tax breaks,” Buffet said in the editorial.

“These and other blessings are showered upon us by legislators in Washington who feel compelled to protect us, much as if we were spotted owls or some other endangered species. It’s nice to have friends in high places.”

“Sleeping with the Enemy: Coco Chanel’s Secret War,” by Hal Vaughan, expands on long-standing evidence that the iconic designer had a double life and was the lover of a spy, Baron Hans Gunther von Dincklage.

Vaughan’s book reveals that not only was Chanel recruited to the Abwehr military intelligence organization, but that von Dincklage was himself a “Nazi master spy.”

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Italy’s unification, Lotus has created two Evora S police cars for the Carabinieri (Military Police).

Powered by a supercharged 3.5-litre Toyota V6 producing 257kW of power and 400Nm of torque, the Evora S is able to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds.

The special models have a light bar, an enhanced automation system and a refrigerated compartment that will be used for transporting vital organs.

Sina Luxury’s main rivals on the Chinese market are the luxury e-tailing start-up IHaveU.com, which as opposed to Sina also sells menswear, as well as a new fashion store called Netease and e-commerce giant Taobao’s TMalls.

Global hotel chain Best Western, which runs over 4,000 hotels, has opened its largest property in the world in the Russian capital, Moscow.

The chain announced August 9 that the Best Western Vega Hotel & Convention Center had officially opened its doors in the historical district of Izmaylovo in Moscow.

Originally built in 1980, the building has been significantly remodeled and will now operate as a three-star hotel, with 970 guest rooms.

Henrik Vibskov, who just showed his collection during Copenhagen fashion week, will release three new fragrances inspired by three different cities.

The Danish fashion designer tried to bottle the essences of Berlin, Copenhagen, and Damascus, naming them Type B, C, and D respectively.

Just like Six Scents, the new fragrances were developed with perfume house Givaudan, and retail for €80 each at French concept store Colette.

Global hotel chain Marriott, which operates 3,600 hotels around the world, has announced plans to build the tallest hotel in New York City.

The brand plans to build a new 68-story skyscraper on Manhattan’s 54th Street to house two hotels under the brands Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn.

The tower will be designed by Nobutaka Ashihara, an established New York architect who designed Lexington House Hotel, Hotel Indigo on 28th Street and Courtyard by Marriott Times Square, and is set to be 752 feet (229 meters) high.
