Oscar de la Renta in NYC that holds the title, with their average customer leaving the shop spending around $3,217.

This isn’t atypical considering dresses in his ready to wear line have price tags from $1,890 to $4,790 (his cocktail dresses can go as high as $10,690).

Aman Resorts, the luxury hotel chain, has been put up for sale with a price tag of over $400m, the Sunday Times reports.

The chain has been put up for sale by its owner, Indian property company DLF. The company is also seeking to sell its real estate joint venture with the Hilton Group.

Aman Resorts, which was set up in 1988 by Adrian Zecha, runs 25 resorts in places such as Thailand and Bali.

Ferrari officially released today the first images, together with all the details and a video of the new open-top, Ferrari 458 Spider.

The top is made from aluminium, achieving a 25 kilogram weight reduction over the previous system, and Ferrari says it can be raised or lowered in 14 seconds.

Power is supplied by the same 4.5 liter V8 unit from the 458 Italia coupe which delivers 570 PS (425 kW / 563 bhp) and 540 Nm of torque (398 lb-ft).

Iconic American luxury auto brand Cadillac has unveiled its new hybrid concept, described as an “expression of Cadillac’s historical grandeur.”

The Ciel concept, which will be on show at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, is a four-seat convertible powered by a 3.6-liter V-6 engine, paired with hybrid drive.

Designed to fit in with the touring cars on display at Pebble Beach, the model is “about the romance of the drive,” says Cadillac-owner General Motors, featuring generous room for two couples across two rows.

Jaguar has released the first image of a new concept car due to be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September.

The C-X16 is described as a “production concept” and is likely to hint strongly at the future style of Jaguar vehicles when it is formally unveiled on September 13 at the huge motor show.

It has been designed by the same team that produced the Jaguar XJ, XF and XK, which is headed by the brand’s design chief Ian Callum, and is expected to be smaller than previous models in an attempt to compete with rivals such as Porsche.
