The hotly anticipated collection will soon hit around 300 stores worldwide and online, although to ensure the launch goes as smoothly as possible consumers will have to follow some strict regulations.
Browsing time is limited at just ten minutes, with consumers allowed in stores in groups of 20. To prevent items ending up on eBay, UK shoppers will only be able to purchase one of each item and only in one size.
Although most destinations will be able to access the Versace for H&M line in stores on November 17, shoppers in North America hoping to get their hands on the collection will need to wait until November 19.
However, they will have five minutes extra browsing time, with 15 minutes to roam the store. They will also be able to purchase up to two of each item if they desire.
Strict shopping measures seem to be necessary as several pieces of the Versace for H&M capsule collection have already appeared on the auction site.
There was a 30 to 40 percent markup from the prices H&M lists online though, with a leopard print sequin dress due to retail for $129 at H&M on the site for $349.
Counterfeiting has also been an issue, as it recently emerged that a Chinese website called Germany Street was claiming to offer the Versace for H&M line.
