KARL LAGERFELD is embracing e-commerce by teaming up with the art website artnet.com.
The fashion designer has created three one-off bags featuring his own sketches, and the accessories will be auctioned off online on November 2. Customers will be able to bid on the bags from November 5-10.
The German designer’s eponymous label Karl Lagerfeld has been expanding its online presence of late via partnerships with Net-a-porter.com, Stylebop.com and the e-commerce sites of Harvey Nichols and Harrods, among others.
Artnet was first founded in 1989 and has gone on to have an influential online presence in the sector.
