Spanning 230-feet or 70 meters, the new superyacht called Aurea is all set to capture the hearts and minds of yachting enthusiasts around the world. A concept conceived by Pininfarina and Rossinavi Yachts, it was unveiled on June 1 at the SuperYacht Gallery in London.

Apart from the concept being undeniably stunning, Aurea also happens to be the first collaboration between the Italian shipyard and the Ferrari designer. Where other superyacht concepts go for more is more, the Aurea sticks to the very things that make sailing out on the open seas appealing — fuss free relaxation. That being said, the designers have spared no expense in ensuring that guests are able to enjoy unbroken views of the sea. While the ocean is just a few steps away, the superyacht will also have two outdoor swimming pools, three open decks, a Jacuzzi and upper deck terrace. With an alfresco dining table, enjoying a meal under the stars will be a reality.

The owner’s deck, which opens out onto the terrace, is fitted with large glass doors allowing guests to enjoy panoramic views without having to leave the confines of the cabin. Guest cabins, each fitted with their own large picture windows also come with a shared private balcony. Taking up centre stage on the superyacht concept is the diesel-electric propulsion that frees up space and allows the designers to create the ‘biggest in class’ beach club.

“Taking inspiration from the sea and integrating the tell-tale fluidity of Pininfarina’s iconic style, Aurea will focus on the lifestyle of the owner and guests,” said Rossinavi Yachts. Staying true to the meaning of is name, Aurea which means golden, is set to be the gem of any shipyard and we can’t wait to have a tour should the concept come to fruition in future.
