After establishing a presence throughout Singapore and South East Asia, our friends at ART REPUBLIK will spread their wings to neighboring shores in Indonesia come August 2016, where a burgeoning art scene has resulted in a land teeming with alternative art spaces and a substantial draw in art investors.

Since its inception in 2013, ART REPUBLIK has been a welcoming and all-embracing platform for art aficionados to live vicariously through the eyes of their favourite artists, curators and collectors. Friendly collaborations with photographers, painters and sculptors have resulted in the extraordinary editorial spreads the magazine has come to be known for; art fair partnerships such as Art Stage Singapore, Affordable Art Fair, Art Basel Hong Kong and Art Bazaar Jakarta have also placed ART REPUBLIK in the spotlight as the leading platform for contemporary art in Asia.

The Indonesian edition – in Bahasa Indonesia – aims to highlight the booming art scene in Indonesia with around 200 pages of vivid art content, with MPGMedia publishing biannually under the license from Heart Media (also the publisher of this site).

“It has been an honor for us to present ART REPUBLIK to art enthusiasts in Indonesia. With a lot of creative talents that exist in this country, we are content to provide a new paradigm and perspective of art itself not only to greater Asia but also to the global audience. With the success that has been achieved by ART REPUBLIK so far, we believe that we can be the platform connecting artists, galleries, curators, collectors, and art lovers from different places,” said Denise Tjokrosaputro, CEO & Publisher at MPGMedia.

Mr. Olivier Burlot, CEO & Publisher at Heart Media, also comments: “We are thrilled to see the launch of the Indonesian version of ART REPUBLIK. The Indonesian art scene has been one of the most vibrant one across Asia and we are confident that the many Indonesian art lovers and art collectors will appreciate the launch of an art publication answering their needs and highlighting rising talents. Working together with MPGMedia gives us strong confidence as to the success of ART REPUBLIK Indonesia.”
