Inspired by her beautiful state Oregon, artist Natalie Fletcher created this impressive painting series titled 100 Bodies Across America. In this series, she translates the picturesque landscapes of blue skies, forests, mountains and beaches onto the human body. She’s translates these idyllic settings onto human canvases and cloaks her subjects in the surrounding landscape with her impeccable painting skills.In her paintings, the torso of her subjects blends seemelessly into the surrounding.  She does fantastic job of painting and positioning people so that they mimic elements from the place and don’t disrupt its horizon line.The facial features of the subjects that emerge from the landscape imbues the environment with a fascinating life and energy. 

Fletcher is currently traveling the United States as part of her 100 Bodies Across America project. Her goal is to paint two bodies in every state. Learn more about her and this project on her blog here.
