Last year, Baccarat opened its very first branded hotel in New York. A bold move for the crystal maker, that started its journey in the tourism industry. The brand goes now a step forward and includes in its offering an all-inclusive around-the-world experience, focused around its core expertise: crystal. The 12-day trip, named “The Baccarat Heritage Experience” costs $300,000 and brings the visitor to 6 different cities, New York, Paris, Istanbul, Moscow, Tokyo and Seoul. It includes private aviation, five-star accommodations, airport transfers, meals and activities: an experience on its own.

What can the travelers expect, then? Baccarat released some details about the trip – enough to get our interest:

New York is where everything starts and first stop is Baccarat’s flagship boutique on Madison Avenue. After-hours tour, afternoon tea, and a visit of Spa de la Mer, a one-of-a-kind venue created by the luxurious skincare brand La Mer, are to expect.

Then, the travelers are sent to Paris, where they visit the Maison Baccarat – the new location of Baccarat’s headquarters. The mansion, once owned by Marie-Laure de Noailles, (an artist who counted Dali, Man Ray and Jean Cocteau among her friends), has since then been redecorated by Stark. A tour of the Musée Baccarat is also included.

After that? We don’t know, but it will probably not disappoint.

All-inclusive around-the-world trips are one of the latest trends of luxury tourism. With this new concept, Baccarat outdoes Crystal AirCruises latest world trip offering – which only worth $159,000. Another example we could take is Four Seasons hotels’ globetrotting journey, focused on gastronomy: a 3-week trip, bringing the guests in some of the best restaurants in the world (From Hong Kong to Lisbon, going through Copenhagen and Chiang Mai), priced at $135,000.
