Fendi presents its Winter Sports Capsule Collection, a selection of high-performing, ready-to-wear and activewear pieces, including accessories and bags, which anticipates the 2022 Winter Olympics taking place in Beijing, China.

Winter hues like cold grey, white, baby and ice blue define the sustainably conceived and highly technical wardrobe which is strongly linked to the aesthetics of the Roman fashion house.

The internal lining of the reversible and technical jackets is made of recycled polyester, while the padding is made up of regenerated duck feathers, that are sourced from post-consumer waste. For men, white winter jackets and trousers featuring an FF logo bonded net are made with the use of Thermore Thermal Booster, which is high-tech thermal insulation designed to keep the body at natural, soft and lightweight warmth and designed to offer maximum comfort.

The men’s collection features a windproof ski suit is peppered with a Hydro FF Print; the logo is barely noticeable under normal conditions but when in contact with water (which is bound to happen in the winter months), the FF logo becomes visible.

Inspired by the upcoming year of the Tiger of the Chinese Calendar, a black and white tiger-print animal motif takes centre stage in the Women’s collection: a jersey t-shirt and sweatshirt, technical underpinnings, as well as a skiwear reversible jacket and trousers are injected with a strong and energetic yet chic attitude, which reflects the courageous, vigorous, and active personality of the tiger, and the people born in its year.

The same tiger motif is embroidered on the new Fendi Match sneakers and inlayed on the maison’s iconic Mini Peekaboo and Baguette bags, produced with soft and warm shearling and accented by a coloured ice blue touch on the buckles, for a chic winter season touch.

Grey sweaters in 100 per cent cashmere feature the Fendi Roma script embroidered in baby blue, while the FF logo pervades a down jacket entirely made in sequins; a whispered version of the FF logo appears on white technical underpinnings and on a nylon ski jacket and trousers featuring the same Hydro FF print from earlier in the men’s collection.

The FF logo quilted details give lightness and liveness to the padded after-ski waterproof ensemble, while Fendi Roma piping and embossed details pepper a padded nylon reversible vest and a jersey t-shirt. Cashmere knits with the FF logo add a cosy touch to the men’s collection.

A plethora of cool technical accessories such as helmets, goggles and gloves, as well as wool scarves and beanie hats, are designed to complete both collections in style, matching the line-up’s palette and motifs.

Fendi’s Winter Sports Capsule Collection will be available in selected Fendi boutiques worldwide and on Fendi’s website from December 23.
