Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano’s first residential building in New York City — the 565 Broome SoHo features a gorgeous 90-foot-tall, glass-encased lounge and conservatory, and even offers a library of books that can be curated exclusively alongside TASCHEN.

Located on Broome Street between Varick Street and Sixth Avenue, the 565 broome SoHo twin-tower complex is one of the city’s first Zero Waste residential developments.

The complex boasts a host of high-end amenities including a 55-foot-long heated pool, a fitness center, a spa with a sauna and steam rooms, a yoga studio, a landscaped outdoor terrace, a children’s playroom, and a private driveway with automated parking system. One of its most novel offerings is the complimentary concierge service, allowing residents to customize their home library collections with the help of a TASCHEN curator.

“The partnership with Renzo Piano at 565 Broome SoHo is indicative of our focus on premier quality and innovative design,” says Giovanni Castellaneta.

Former Italian ambassador, Giovanni Castellaneta is currently the chairman of Bizzi & Partners Development, and one of the developers behind the luxury project. “TASCHEN is one of the most respected art and design book publishers in the world, and we have a shared vision to create a personal and intimate experience for our residents at 565 Broome SoHo that reflects the best of the cultural life that New York City has to offer.”

Clad in low-iron glass that provides superior UV protection and great clarity of the surrounding cityscape, the SoHo is a 30-storey building that houses 115 apartments. SIzes range from studios to four-bedroom units, as well as two penthouses and a handful of duplexes with incredible rooftop spaces.

Featuring interiors by Parisian firm RDAI, every residences even touts a chef’s kitchens with custom cabinetry, marble master baths with heated flooring, and spacious living rooms with wall-sized windows. However, only the larger units offer a balcony.

While the construction is still in the midst of wrapping up later this year, most of the units are up for purchase since the launch of sales in September 2016.
