UK-based Sunseeker has unveiled the stunning new 40-metre (131-ft.) superyacht it plans to debut at the upcoming PSP Southampton Boat Show.

The 40M builds on the success of Sunseeker’s 37-metre model, employing the extra length for balconies and more expansive teak decks.

An increased rake makes for an impressive streamlined profile a sharp, ocean-going bow.

Stairs which curve inwards on each side of the hydraulic central bathing platform make for a dramatic “all aboard” to an exciting superyacht.

The yacht’s three decks of interior space are designed to optimize available natural light, and the lower deck guest cabins feature large, panoramic portlights.

An integrated touch-screen-controlled lighting system does the rest while a state-of-the-art audio visual system by Bang & Olufsen helps to set the mood.

Layouts can be customized to individual customers’ specifications; in the show model the skydeck has been configured to maximise space and offer a combination of formal and informal seating, while the main deck saloon is equipped with an oval bar positioned aft to serve both the saloon and main aft deck cockpit.
