Yachting fans cannot wait to see the Azimut Grande Range where it will showcase yachts from 25m to 32m. The flagship Azimut Grande 35 Metri won a Christofle Yacht Style award for Best New International Motor Yacht Over 30m in Phuket last January, and we have reviewed the Azimut Grande 27 Metri, but now come the Azimut Grande 25 Metri and Azimut Grande 32 Metri. The Avigliana-based yard has thus selected LOAs that are not far apart, but which still offer custom touches and cadences that are distinctly different. The Azimut Grande 25 Metri was specially created for an owner

who likes to stand out from the crowd, says a spokesman. Interior design by Achille Salvagni presents “an unprecedented mix of the elegant and the casual”, while her sleek exterior lines are by Stefano Righini. The vessel has a Carbon Tech superstructure, roll-bar and hard top. Although one of the smaller Azimut Grandes, she has a tender garage and separate crew quarters, and Salvagni has introduced lacquered surfaces in colours ranging from purple to sugar paper. Layout is fairly open plan in the living areas, and there are four guest cabins on the lower deck, three with double beds. Power comes from twin 1650 HP MANs, or 1800 HPs which allow a top speed of 29 knots.

Azimut is proud to showcase its Grande Range consisting of yachts from 25m to 32m. The Azimut Grande 32 Metri is described as “pure avant-garde”, standing out from more classical art forms. She has a spacious beach club, and a large garage that can house a 5m tender and 3m jet ski. The night zone consists of five double cabins, including the owner’s on the principal deck. She comes fitted with two 2200 HP MTUs.

The Azimut S7 was introduced at Milan Fashion Week last April, and now her little sister is presented in Cannes as a “pure coupé with sporty DNA that looks set to leave its mark in the history of yacht design”.

Use of Carbon Tech is again a feature, and the propulsion system uses an interesting three Volvo Penta IPS pods, delivering fuel efficiency as well as vibration and noise reduction. For those visiting Cannes Yachting Festival, it is set up to allow sea trials during the event as well as after, but pre-contact and bookings are advised.
