Alfa Romeo Bids The 4C Sport Car Series Farewell With a Limited Edition Spider 33 Stradale Tributo

The all-new 2020 4C Spider 33 Stradale Tributo represents the final lap of the Alfa Romeo 4C sport car’s production.

Reaching its final lap in production, this latest announcement by Alfa Romeo confirms the 4C sport car’s discontinuation after 2020. Finally at the end of the road, the noble Alfa Romeo 4C sports car, which bowed out after 2018 and will undergo one final transformation before ceasing production completely. Dubbed the 2020 4C Spider 33 Stradale Tributo edition, this new and improved build will honor its iconic predecessor, the 1960 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale – which at the time of its launch was among the fastest cars ever built, boasting a top speed of 162 mph.

Worth an estimated $81,590, the all-new 2020 4C Spider 33 Stradale Tributo sports a Rosso Villa d’Este carbon monocoque chassis, with wheels dressed in a grayish gold tone. Complete with composite sport seats covered in a mix of black suede and brown leather, this car also features a variety of badges that highlight the vehicle’s significance. With no major changes made in its mechanics, the Spider 33 Stradale Tributo is expected to facilitate up to 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, courtesy of its 1.75-liter turbocharged inline-4 that’s mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission which spins the rear wheels only.

Weighing a mere 2,500 pounds, the special 4C will sprint to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds and top out at 160 mph. Complemented by an Akropovic exhaust and racing suspensions, the 2020 4C Spider 33 Stradale Tributo is set to be an exclusive run of just 33 examples.
