You might think it’s too early to be planning your Christmas décor, but luxury crystal house BACCARAT is planning ahead.

The French design house is celebrating its 250th anniversary with a collection “Christmas in Red”, shining the spotlight on its signature color.

PHILIPPE STARCK has designed the limited edition “Harcourt Our Fire” candlestick for the collection, featuring a red lampshade-esque detail.

The collection also includes the “Eye” candle holder and vase by Nicolas Triboulot, the “Héritage” crystal sun clock and the striking “Zenith”, a 24-light clear and red crystal chandelier.

Purely decorative elements include the “Papillon” crystal mirror butterfly and the “Héritage” crystal panther sculpture by Georges Chevalier.

The red crystal is obtained by fusing clear crystal and 24ct gold powder.
