Oola

Food lovers on the lookout for new online content to consume may want to look towards the winners of the Webby Awards, which this year crowned Oola the best food and drink-related website on the Internet.

With the tagline “Feed Your Inner Foodie,” Oola is designed as a comprehensive one-stop shop that includes recipes, feature articles, cooking tips and restaurant recommendations.

Operated by Gateway Media, the site could be described as a more pared-down, consumer-oriented version of Serious Eats and The Daily Meal, and a more contemporary version of Epicurious.com.

In the mobile category for food and drink, Distiller, took the top award, while Chefs Feed took the People’s Voice award.

Distiller reviews whiskeys for enthusiasts, while Chefs Feed provides restaurant recommendations written by some of the biggest chef names in the world including Mario Batali, David Chang and Thomas Keller.
