A 66 million-year-old skeleton of one of the largest known Tyrannosaurus rex specimens ever discovered will be up for sale at an auction in LasVegas on October 3.
The rare skeleton – dubbed ‘Samson’ – is arguably one of the three most complete specimens to have been discovered, auction house Bonhams said.
Native to North America, Tyrannosaurus rex is recognized as the ‘Tyrant Lizard King’ and is the most famous of the behemoths of the “Age of Dinosaurs.”

Only two months after announcing the first handsets from its Avantgarde Skeleton Collection, Gresso has now unveiled the Skeleton Gold phone.
Not too different from the Avantgarde Skeleton, the Gresso Skeleton Gold is, obviously, dressed in more gold.
Its 23 functional keys are “executed of 18k gold”, while its QVGA screen is protected by hand-polished 42k sapphire glass, which is inspired by complicated swiss skeleton watches.

After the Black Diamond collection and the White Diamonds collection, Gresso, the Russian company distinguished for its luxury high-tech articles, has introduced its limited edition Avantgarde Skeleton Collection.
As the name suggests it is a “skeleton” phone, inspired by the complicated Swiss Skeleton watches. The Gresso Avantgarde Skeleton follows the same principal and allows one to peer through a sapphire crystal display at the circuitry within.
The luxury phone has been made by employing the traditions of watchmaking and jewelry art, as well as achievements in aero-space technologies.

A triceratops skeleton is expected to fetch 500,000 euros at an upcoming Christie’s auction in Paris, where giant shark teeth and a sabre-toothed tiger skull are also up for bids.
The skeleton of the three-horned dinosaur, from a private European collection, is the highlight of the April 16 auction. It will mark the first time that such a dinosaur specimen goes up for public sale since a T-Rex called “Sue” was sold in New York in October 1997.
The four-legged triceratops, which dates back between 65 and 67 million years, measures 7.5 metres in length and bears a large bony frill and three horns.
