Menswear designer Thom Browne has teamed up with classic American travel outfitter, Samsonite, for a sleek Attache Case for the company’s flagship Black Label line.
It comes in grey finish which is issued in a grey tone which not only matches the overall look of the A/W collection but looks simply great in hand.
Samsonite is no stranger to designer collaborations, having worked with Viktor & Rolf last year.

German sportswear giant Adidas and travel goods company Samsonite have joined forces in which the maker of travel bags will manufacture and distribute Y-3 accessories.
Y-3 is a collaboration between Adidas and Japanese ready-to wear designer Yohji Yamamoto. The apparel is a combination of fashion and sportswear, and the new accessories lines will reflect the same mood.
According to WWD, this is the first accessories license and the Y-3 travel accessories and leather goods produced by Samsonite will start with goods retailing for next spring.

Samsonite Black Label has collaborated with Viktor & Rolf to produce a range of luggage and accessories following their well-established link with Alexander McQueen.
The collection is inspired by the golden age of travel, yet with a Viktor & Rolf twist, making them look like toys with colourful aeroplane prints, large bows and oversized hardware.
“To emphasise the fun of the collection, we developed a white custom-built 1960’s airport, complete with aircraft, ground vehicles and crew.”

Alexander McQueen’s already conspicuously acclaimed work for Samsonite’s Black Label business luggage will get two new highlights. The unusual ribcage Hero piece (A11) and the small hard-side crocodile skin textured upside trolley (A12) will get a futuristic limited edition shining silver overhaul.
Truly admirable additions with features like the scratch resistant surface, shipped shoe and laundry bags and a TSA lock. ”Created with Bayer, one of the world’s largest producers of polymers and high-performance plastics, the bags’ shiny silver coating feature a special UV resistant mirror paint that won’t crack.”
The luggage will be available at Samsonite boutiques worldwide from November 2008 retails from $800 to $2,500. If your goal is to freak out innocent bystanders using nothing but your luggage, then this is your bag ^_^
If you are in the need of some new luggage and are looking for something that is a bit out of the normal and attracts attention, then you should check out this new collaboration between Samsonite’s Black Label and Swarovski.
This re-edition of a 1920’s trunk got entirely covered in Swarovski rhinestones that will succeed in grabbing every co-traveler’s attention.
As with any item given the Swarovski touch, it is sure to be expensive, and only a limited few will be able to get their hands on the Samsonite Black Label Swarovski Trunk—there are only thirty available worldwide (available at Colette in Paris).
