Gulfstream Aerospace rolled out its new flagship business jet, the all-new Gulfstream G650, at company headquarters in Savannah on Tuesday.
Approximately 7,000 people gathered at the new G650 manufacturing building for the aircraft’s debut.
First announced in March 2008, the ultra-large-cabin, ultra-long-range G650 remains on schedule for customer deliveries in 2012.

A new concept in executive and luxury travel memberships is coming next month, which will open the doors to a fantasy world for super-rich seeking access to elite air travel.
Called Air Platinum Club, the concept offers its members the access to a wide selection of luxury travel options ranging from private jets to luxury watercrafts.
The fleet of private jets includes the Gulfstream GIV SP, two Bombardier Global XRS planes, the Falcon 2000 and Falcon 50.

Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer is scouting for buyers for two of its Gulfstream aircraft, a Gulfstream V model and a Gulfstream 550.
The V is offered at $29.25 million and the 550 for $35.5 million, Cityfile reports.
It’s unclear when the planes were put up for sale exactly, although both were reduced in price recently.

Embattled bank JPMorgan Chase, the recipient of $25 billion in TARP funds, is going ahead with a $138 million plan to buy two new luxury corporate jets and build “the premier corporate aircraft hangar on the eastern seaboard” to house them, ABC News reports.
The financial giant’s upgrade includes nearly $120 million for two Gulfstream 650 planes and $18 million for a lavish renovation of a hangar at the Westchester Airport outside New York City.
The Gulfstream 650’s are described by the manufacturer as the “fastest,” “widest” and “most comfortable” private jet ever with superior cabin amenities, an optional stateroom, and 12 interior designs to choose from.

Bank of America is selling three corporate jets from its fleet, as well as a helicopter it acquired through its purchase of Merrill Lynch, the company said yesterday.
In addition, the bank is believed to be trying to sell one of its corporate apartments in New York, according to a source familiar with the matter.
The dramatic downsizing came on a day when the bank’s share price dipped below $5 for the first time since 1990. The news follows the fact that both Citigroup and Starbucks have put planes on the market recently.
