Stella McCartney is the latest designer to debut a luxury children’s collection, joining the likes of Burberry, D&G and Dior.

Her line of childrenswear, Stella McCartney Kids, will hit shelves on November 3 but McCartney is no novice when it comes to designing for tots.

The British designer, who is pregnant with her fourth child, already has two successful capsule collections with Gap under her belt.

Now, the former creative force behind French house Chloé is ready to engage in designing children’s apparel on a more personal and permanent basis.

Stella McCartney Kids, which will comprise styles for both boys and girls ranging in age from 0 to 12 years, will be available worldwide starting next month.

Items will be sold through a dedicated website with express shipping to 200 countries.

In addition, the collection will also be stocked at Stella McCartney stores in London, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Dubai, among others.

Prices will range from 19 euros for a baby’s T-shirt to 150 euros for a coat.

According to Vogue UK, the new collection is named after children’s first names, such as the Ingrid floral print dress and the Sam wool and cashmere blend pea coat.

In addition, McCartney, a staunch environmental rights activist, has also included eco-friendly pieces like organic onesies.

McCartney isn’t the only high-end label to add luxury childrenswear to her company’s portfolio.

This autumn, Italian fashion houses Gucci and Fendi are also debuting mini-me lines.
