TACORI Celebrates 25 Years of Signature Crescent Design

What began as a challenge to embed a hidden symbol of love on the inner face of a ring has become Tacori’s signature design detail.

TACORI is an iconic fine jewellery brand, known for its signature Crescent design and intricate hidden details. In 1998, the TACORI Crescent was born of thoughtful interpretation when TACORI founder, Haig Tacorian, commissioned artisan, Garo Kourounian, to imbue a ring with a subtle symbol of love. Kourounian artfully concealed a heart, only revealing the upper half of the shape. This distinctive design was the first iteration of the iconic TACORI Crescent that now unites every TACORI collection.

The TACORI Crescent is used in original and unexpected ways — as an artisan signature, as a fabric on the inner face of a ring, and as a hidden detail only visible to the wearer. It can be etched in metal, set in pavé diamonds, or formed from negative space to create stunning windows of light. By adding these unexpected and distinctive touches, TACORI transforms a beautiful piece of jewelry into a reminder to celebrate life’s beautiful details.

On the 25th Anniversary of the Crescent, TACORI designers revisit the original Classic Crescent with a diamond-intense interpretation called the TACORI Classic Crescent RoyalT Diamond Bands. The latest styles dazzle with bold and intricate mosaics of marquise, pear and emerald cut diamonds. The intricately patterned layout of stones radiate an eye-catching and tenacious sparkle.

The TACORI Classic Crescent RoyalT Diamond Band are offered in three ring styles — TACORI Marquise and Pear Diamond Band, TACORI East West Marquise and Pear Diamond Band, and TACORI Emerald and Pear Diamond Band — in Platinum, 18K Yellow, Rose and White Gold. The choices are further extended to the diamond coverage of the ring, from half way to 3/4 way or eternity.

Depending on individual preference on the cut of diamonds and design, each of the three ring styles will find a fan in you. TACORI Marquise and Pear Diamond Band features a geometric design for people who love, well, geometric design while TACORI Emerald and Pear Diamond Band’s linear design will appeal to the audience who love simple ring styles and prefer for the diamonds to stand out on their own, and TACORI East West Marquise and Pear Diamond Band’s floral design definitely speaks to the feminine appeal.

The diamonds are VS1+ clarity and F/G+ colour are individually matched by master gemologists. The final result is a ring that features beauty from every angle.

They are priced from USD18,000 to USD32,000 depending on the ring style, metal choice and diamond coverage.
