Regarded the Prancing Horse’s first production plug-in hybrid spider, the SF90 Spider sets new performance and innovation benchmarks not only for the marque’s range, but for the entire sports car sector. Inspired by the SF90 Stradale’s extreme supercar specification and record-breaking performance, this all-new Spider alternative showcases enhanced versatility, thanks to the latest iteration of Ferrari’s signature Retractable Hardtop architecture.

The Ferrari SF90 Spider Is The Next Innovative Sports Car To Beat

Representing the epitome of advanced Ferrari technology, the SF90 Spider is characterized by plug-in hybrid architecture in which the internal combustion engine is integrated with two electric motors at the front, which comprise the RAC-e (Cornering Angle Regulator, Electric) system, and one at the rear derived from and named after a Prancing Horse Formula 1 innovation, the MGUK (Motor Generator Unit, Kinetic). The effortless coordination of these plugins thus result in a maximum of 1,000 cv, positioning this Ferrari at both the top of its category and in the Maranello range.

Available in both standard and sports-oriented specifications, the SF90 Spider comes complete with an innovative new HMI concept which includes a steering wheel with touchpad console, allowing drivers to virtually control the car without stretching their hands and diverting their attention. Other advancements include a 16” curved HD screen, and automatic gearbox controls actioned by a grille-style feature that references Ferrari’s glorious and iconic manual gearshift gate.
