Investment Firm Bealcy Investments Changes Hands and Shifts Business Focus

Cyprus-based A.K. Star Nominees Limited has purchased Bealcy Investments Limited. The transaction was finalized on July 14, 2023. Former shareholders Ledra Nominees Limited and Christodoulos Georgiou Vassiliades have sold their stakes and are no longer involved in the company’s management.

The change in ownership marked a strategic pivot for Bealcy Investments Limited. Prior to 2023, the company focused on emerging markets, but the new management has shifted its strategy. Since July 2023, it has shifted its investment focus from post-Soviet states to the United States and Europe, concentrating primarily on pharmaceuticals and household products. Its main focus now is manufacturing medications for pulmonary diseases. Its portfolio also includes producers of laundry detergents, personal care products, and real estate investments.

The ownership transfer was registered with the Cyprus Companies Register. Ledra Nominees Limited had served as the nominee shareholder, while Christodoulos Georgiou Vassiliades was a director at both Ledra Nominees Limited and Ledra Secretarial Services Limited. Both parties sold their stakes and resigned from management after the transaction.

The buyer, A.K. Star Nominees Limited, is a firm based in Cyprus that offers audit, tax planning, and financial consulting services. The company is led by Andreas Kazamias, a finance expert and member of both the ACCA and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus. Kazamias brings extensive experience with international corporate structures from his years at leading audit firms, including Big Four practices.

The new ownership also introduced administrative changes. Corporate services were transferred from Christodoulos G. Vassiliades & Co. LLC to A.K. Star Corporate Services Ltd. Secretary duties were transferred from Ledra Secretarial Services to A.K. Star Secretary, while board responsibilities were taken over by A.K. Star Directors.

Representatives from A.K. Star Nominees Limited have confirmed that they will continue to focus on the company’s strategy in the West. The firm will keep evaluating investment opportunities in U.S. and European markets.
