In a sign of the wine times, one of the world’s most authoritative wine publications, Decanter, said it plans to launch a Chinese version of its website.

The move comes after another top wine publication, described as the wine bible for the French, La Revue du Vin de France, launched a Chinese version of its magazine last year.

Decanterchina.com, meanwhile, will be written in both English and Mandarin Chinese. The UK-based publication is read in more than 90 countries.

Set for a fall launch, the new site will focus on wine education, and will include a glossary of key wine terms, event listings, and the latest in wine news and top reviews. It will also be integrated with Chinese microblogging service Weibo.
