This amazing look machine is the Code X Yacht, an ultra performance hybrid sports boat built by Code-X in Meggen on Lake Lucerne in Switzerland.
She’s powered by a pair of Ilmor Marine 710 horsepower V10 Formula 1 engines that push along at 90 knots (167 km/h).
For less frenetic, more environmentally conscious cruising, the owner can choose, via a touch-pad screen, to rely either solely or partly on a bank of photovoltaic modules supplying electric motors and/or lithium batteries.

Running on electrons will only get you 9 knots but it does mean you can slip out silently while basking in the sun.
Featuring a GPS-controlled “Virtual Anchor” system that will keep it stationary regardless of the wind speed or water current, Code X also includes touchscreen controls and a Kevlar/carbon shell with phototropic-shaded screens and windows.

What sort of price are we talking about and has it been created yet? or are those photoshopped?
Also, This is the best website ever!
aww thanks :)
We have no info about the price (must be US$ X0,000,000 at least !) and it should go on production this fall.
What we see must be a prototype (photoshopped for the colour thing) but there are a lot of new pics on http://www.code-x.ch/
