Year 2011 sees Italian fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna celebrating its 20th Anniversary in China.
To commemorate this occasion Ermenegildo Zegna made a special limited edition collection of just twenty pieces to mark this important milestone.
The collection include watches, cufflinks, mobile phones and fabrics made in collaboration with Girard-Perregaux, Tateossian and Vertu.

Girard-Perregaux‘s contribution to this year’s Only Watch auction is a unique version of their worldwide time control model.
The entire piece has a very soft, smooth look to it, with rounded edges on the case, chrono pushers and strap.
Girard Perregaux used ultra-light titanium oxide to produce the white single-piece watch-case middle, and the thin bezel is made of ceramic.

French retailer and luxury goods giant PPR announced Monday the launch of a capital increase reserved for Group Sowind after which it will become the majority shareholder of the company with 50.1% of the capital.
Sowind Group, one of the few independent Swiss watch manufacturers with a presence in 60 countries including the brands Girard-Perregaux and JeanRichard.
PPR, which already held 23% stake in the company did not specify the amount of the transaction.

Bottega Veneta has partnered with the Swiss watch giant Girard Perregaux to produce its first watch, the BVX.
The unisex watch features a dark, brushed-titanium curved case with a brown face and a cigar-colored crocodile strap.
The BVX is $14,600 and will be exclusively available from Bottega Veneta’s stores next month.

Girard-Perregaux has created a new exclusive limited edition timepiece to celebrate its friendly cooperation with Boucheron.
The case is made of either eighteen karat rose or white gold along with double sapphire crystal displays and is water resistant up to thirty meters.
The heart of the watch is the brand’s in-house self-winding mechanical movement, GP03300-45 Calibre.
Besides hours, minutes and a small seconds register, it has an annual calendar with an indicator for date and month.

The Boucheron Reflet XL Château Latour Millésime 2005 is a new watch made by Boucheron in partnership with Château Latour.
The dial is made of wood from barrels made of two hundread year old French oak in which Château Latour’s Grand Millésime 2005 vintage was aged.
The model has an automatic movement for Girard-Perregaux (caliber GP4000) with a power reserve of 40 hours.
