The Fisker Karma had what seems like an exceptionally strong quarter in the Netherlands outselling several well-known vehicles from luxury automakers.
It was the second-highest-selling brand in luxury four-door models between January and April, overtaking the likes of the BMW 7-series, Mercedes S-class and Audi A8.

Fisker Automotive has unveiled its new plug-in vehicle at the New York International Auto Show, as it struggles to recover from setbacks with its Karma sedan.
The brand unveiled a prototype of the new Fisker Atlantic plug-in hybrid at the press preview of the New York show, promising that it would be less expensive and more fuel efficient than the $103,000 Karma.

Fisker is facing yet more embarrassing publicity surrounding its Karma plug-in hybrid, after a test model broke down while being tested by Consumer Reports.
The consumer publication released a YouTube video this week purporting to show that the Karma, which sells for over $100,000, had broken down in its driveway.
In the video, Consumer Reports’ Tom Mutchler claims that the car wouldn’t move into gear and wouldn’t move, before a dealer arrivers to pick up the model.

Teen idol Justin Bieber was presented with a 2012 Fisker Karma on his 18th birthday during The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday.
The gift was a surprise from Scooter Braun, Bieber’s manager, who said that “we wanted to make sure you are environmentally friendly.”
The Fisker Karma is the first model from Fisker Automotive. It’s a sexy four-door sedan with an electric motor and a 2.0L turbocharged range-extending engine.

Green car maker Fisker Automotive has confirmed that it is to launch a second model at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Following in the footsteps of rival Tesla, which is working feverishly to ready its new Model S sedan for a launch next year, Fisker will expand its lineup beyond its $95,000 sports model with the launch of stablemate for the Fisker Karma.
The Fisker Surf concept was formally unveiled September 13 and is an extended-range electric vehicle, powered by batteries but capable of using a small gasoline generator to top up the charge when necessary.
