Chanel’s Cruise collection at Versailles earlier this week didn’t disappoint in the beauty stakes, and now fashionistas will be able to recreate the Marie Antoinette-inspired aesthetic with the launch of Chanel logo beauty spot stickers.
For Monday’s runway show, Chanel’s creative director of makeup Peter Philips adorned models’ cheekbones with black velvet Chanel logo beauty spots.
Style.com reports that the stickers recreating the effect will be available for sale in an upcoming line called Collection Versailles de Chanel.

On May 14 Karl Lagerfeld presented Chanel‘s 2013 Cruise collection around the Trois Fontaines Bosquet fountains at the Château de Versailles near Paris, with ornate Marie Antoinette-inspired creations receiving an edgy update thanks to the addition of candy-colored wigs and flatform shoes.

France’s Château de Versailles is continuing its moment in the fashion spotlight, with the latest Dior video seeing the famous castle transformed into a secret garden.
Just last month it was reported Chanel will host its annual Croisière presentation at the Château de Versailles on May 14, and now the prestigious location, which is situated near Paris, provides the setting for a dreamlike fashion video by Dior.

French luxury house Dior has released a new ad for its iconic fragrance starring Hollywood actress Charlize Theron.
Filmed at the Château de Versailles, the commercial depicts Theron arriving at an over-the-top fashion show where Grace Kelly, Marlene Dietrich, and Marilyn Monroe are getting ready for the runway among other models.
While it’s not (yet) possible to smell a fragrance through a TV commercial, the actress’s golden dress (inspired by the scent’s flacon) and empowered walk down the catwalk comes a close second.

Versailles represents the exquisite perfection that artists and master craftsmen can achieve, and the Palace plays a leading role in promoting French culture and art around the world.
Versailles and Martell, the French Cognac house founded in 1715, share the same vision of luxury, the French “art of living”, and the finest gastronomy.
It is in this spirit that Martell decided to support the restoration to its former splendour of the famous Queen’s Antechamber at Versailles.

Japanese artist Takashi Murakami‘s outlandish manga visions overwhelm the Chateau of Versailles, and not everyone is happy.
Unbelievably, his metal, fibreglass and acrylic sculptures manage to dominate the vast chambers of Versailles, with their marbled walls, gold leaf capitals and celestial ceiling frescoes.
But while French monarchists have denounced as “illegal” the exhibition, the artist himself says that he is quite used to what he calls “Murakami-bashing.”
