
When the glitterati descend on Cannes for, perhaps, the most glamorous film festival on earth, the city’s restaurants will also be kicking into high gear as they prepare to feed the world’s biggest stars.
With 316 brasseries, wine bars, and fine dining restaurants dotted throughout the city, visitors can choose between eateries that serve a global mix of fare from fresh sea urchin to sushi, African antelope to Australian ostrich and traditionally French Béarnaise sauces to harissa.

Cannes’s hotels are gearing up for their busiest period of the year, when international movie stars, directors and producers will flock to the French Riviera for the city’s film festival (May 16-27).

Gucci created a limited edition bag collection for Summer 2011, which will be exclusively sold in the flagship stores in Capri, Cannes, Marbella and Monte Carlo.
A different color for each boutique: sea green for Capri, lavender for Cannes, orange for Marbella and bright red for Monte Carlo.
The collection consists of three elegant proposals: the Tote Bag, a casual-chic shopping bag in caracas raw linen fabric and leather trims; a practical zipped wallet and a beige pashmina shawlwith the color of the boutique where it is sold.
