Miranda Kerr has been chosen to wear the Victoria’s Secret‘s 2011 Fantasy Treasure at next month’s presentation.

Valued at $2.5 million, the bra is inspired by an underwater dreamland of luxury, exotic glamour and sexy aquatic Angels.

The Fantasy Treasure Bra was created by London Jewellers in Long Island. It boasts almost 3,400 stones, of which there are 142 carats of yellow and white diamonds.

You would think that wearing Victoria’s Secret’s jewel-covered fantasy bra and panties would be the most glamorous moment of a model’s life.

However, for super model Selita Ebanks, who slipped into underwear covered with $4.5 million worth of diamonds, rubies, emeralds and yellow sapphires, nothing could be further from the truth.

Ebanks, who wore the Magical Diamond Bra And Panty Set Of Destiny in the 2007 Victoria’s Secret fashion show, says that the stones hurt in her special lady place.

Decorated with a starburst design, the Bombshell bra features 2,000 diamonds and was unveiled ahead of the upcoming fashion show in New York.

Last year, Vicky’s Secret Angel Marisa Miller was the chosen one to wear the $3 million Harlequin Fantasy Bra.

The 31-year old supermodel Marisa Miller was chosen to model this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra, designed by Italian jewelry house Damiani.

The $3 million bra was covered in 150 carats of stones, including a 16-carat heart-shaped stone. “It’s like being a princess,” Marisa told Us Weekly.

Sadly, the recession appears to have hit the diamond bra business quite hard. In 2006 the diamond bra was covered in $5.6 million in diamonds.
