Waldorf Astoria Salvatore Ferragamo amenity kits

Luxury hotel chain Waldorf Astoria has announced a partnership with high-end fashion brand Salvatore Ferragamo to produce a new range of guest amenities.

The kits, which will be available exclusively from Waldorf Astoria properties, are Salvatore Ferragamo’s first venture into beauty and grooming and are comprised of Eau de Toilette, amenities and bath products.

Featuring exclusively Italian ingredients, the set of products will be distributed under the name ‘Tuscan Soul’.

Guests will find traditional hotel guest amenities such as shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, along with extra items including facial mist, lip balm, an anti-aging face mask, hand cream, eye cream, shaving gel and after shave emulsion.

They are already available in select Waldorf Astoria properties in New York, New Orleans, Rome, Paris, Shanghai and London and will be rolled out to all 22 Waldorf Astoria properties from January 2012, the firms said in a statement.

The move is likely to give Waldorf Astoria one of the most desirable toiletry sets in the business, although there are a couple of others luxury-loving hotel guests should look out for.

Stay at Hilton Garden Inn and the toiletries will be provided by Neutrogena, for example, while W Hotels feature a line produced by upscale spa chain Bliss.

InterContinental, meanwhile, offers Gilchrist & Soames products, and Trump Hotels and Resorts turned to hip beauty brand Lather.
