At this point in the year when most industries are struggling, one of the key ingredients of the luxury world, the world of watches, seems to be moving ahead like a juggernaut. In fact, the latest reports show that sales of watches have easily even exceeded expectations all across the region. As such, we are witnessing not only the brisk sales of watches but also a steady flow of news related to watches launches. Our cover story this issue showcases the Rado Captain Cook Bronze. The epitome of the retro watch made cool, this time around, Rado highlights a watch that successfully combines the ancient material of bronze with its high tech knowhow to recreate an iconic timepiece from its past and refresh it for the times to come.

Meanwhile, taking advantage of the strong local market, celebrated German watch brand, A. Lange & Söhne, made the effort to open the doors of its all new boutique in Suria KLCC. We were present during this event and were given an exclusive tour of this boutique that reflects all the fineries and sensibilities of the brand with its spirit seemingly coming all the way to Kuala Lumpur from Dresden. In closing, the aforementioned stories are just a fraction of the multitude of features and reports we have published in this issue.
