Unveiling eight luminous new additions, the Frivole collection includes a variety of bracelets, necklaces, rings and two secret watches, in which Van Cleef & Arpels pay poetic tribute to nature, in celebration of the coming of spring.

Featuring a yellow gold bangle adorned in shimmering motifs, the collection’s seven flower bracelet aims to evoke the vitality and diversity of nature through the seamless incorporation of assorted corollas. A magnifying sight, each sun-drenched flower showcases a three-dimensional composition, with superimposed heart-shaped petals and an array of central diamonds – all of which frame a concealed timepiece.

Generously embellished in sparkling diamonds and dissimilar motifs, the latest five-flower bracelet pairs impeccably with the Frivole collection’s nine-flower necklace, forming a complete and uniform set. Reflecting the Maison’s emblematic style, the pair is further enhanced by the asymmetric Between the Finger Ring, which presents a delicate tête-à-tête, in the form of a dialogue between three flowers in mirror-polished white gold and a diamond-paved flower.

Utilizing clipped pendants, Van Cleef & Arpels explore the versatility of transformable creations to suit every occasion. Worn on a white gold chain or as a clip on clothing or for the hair, the pendant features three sizeable diamond-paved petals surrounding a central three-diamond heart. When mounted on a bracelet-watch, the pendant also conceals a series of delicately-pivoting corollas, further enhancing a discretely designed timepiece.

In an effort to illuminate each creation, Van Cleef & Arpels has incorporated the Maison’s signature mirror-polishing technique. Highlighting the gleam of gold to create intense reflection, each stone is pierced to allow passage of light, in a traditional process known as ‘openwork’. Coupled with the brand’s meticulous attention to detail, each stone was hand-selected based on the strictest criteria, D to F for intense colour and IF to VVS for clarity.
