A bangle inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night, part of the new FREYWILLE collection Hommage à Van Gogh.

Austrian jewelry brand Freywille has reimagined some of the artist’s most famous paintings such as Starry Night and Almond Blossom as enameled bracelets and pendants.

The beautiful and timeless works of Vincent Van Gogh are given a fresh lease of life in the form of fire enamel jewelry.

Inspired by one of the most influential figures in the history of Western art, these items will be part of Freywille’s Hommage collection, which has previously featured enamel jewelry inspired by the works of more renowned artists such as Claude Monet and Gustav Klimt.

The series features two collections, with the Eternité collection based on the Starry night, and the Almond Blossom painting inspired L’Amandier collection. The Starry Night depicts a nocturne view from his bedroom window – a sight Van Gogh painted on 21 different occasions – each time in a different weather and time condition.

L’Amandier is available in two colorways, pale pink blossoms against a turquoise background and white flowers against a fiery red background. Inspired by Van Gogh’s personal fascination with flowering trees, this artwork was a standout piece from a larger collection of paintings that he created in France between 1888 and 1890.
