Everything You Need To Know About The Supreme X The North Face Collection
The new collab is set to launch on 24 March — check out the collection here.
The North Face has announced yet another collaboration, this time with cult label Supreme. The collection is set to drop on 24 March, 11 am EDT in the United States.
In this latest collection, the two street fashion labels have come together for a selection of functional offerings with detailing provided by 3M. At a glance the drop will include a Baltoro Jacket, Mountain Pro Jacket, Mountain Pant, Base Layer Long Sleeve Top, Sketch Short Sleeve Top, Chugach 16 Backpack, and Smith Squad MAG Goggles.
The standout piece from this collection has to be the Summit Series Rescue Baltoro jacket, set to be released in four colourways: camo, black, blue, and pink. The jacket is made with a water-resistant nylon shell along with a 700-Fill down interior and co-branding throughout the exterior. The matching Mountain Pro Jacket and Pant feature a water-resistant 3-layer poly shell and fully sealed seams as well as printed logo tricot backing. The Base Layer Long Sleeve Top is created with poly elastane high-density printed logos, and the Sketch Short Sleeve Top on the other hand, stands out thanks to a series of printed graphics and logos.
Rounding out this collection are the Chugach 16 Backpack — which features water-resistant 420D recycled nylon and 840D ballistic nylon — and the laser-etched, silicone-backed Smith Rescue Goggles. This collection will receive a global release available exclusively via the streetwear imprint’s website.
This is not the first collaboration between both brands. In fact, Supreme and The North Face’s relationship dates back to 2007, with a goal of bringing streetwear’s flair to outerwear sensibility. For SS20, the pair released a capsule with included the coveted Supreme x The North Face RTG Jacket + Vest, which is still available on websites such as Goat.
Recently, The North Face also launched a collection with atelier Gucci, featuring a range of products including windbreakers, bags, and even a Gucci-fied tent emblazoned with the collaborative logo of The North Face and Gucci.
