In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Gel-Lyte III, Ronnie Fieg continues his storied partnership with Asics, introducing a concept dubbed “The Palette”. The collaboration which dates as far back as 2017, first began with an invitation for the Kith-owner to redesign the iconic Asics Gel-Lyte III in three color variations. The partnership which has continued since is distinguished by newly designed Asics each year.

Asics’ Kaleidoscopic Collection With Kith Goes Live on Black Friday

Conceptualizing a shoe in honor of this iconic silhouette’s 30th anniversary, Ronnie Fieg emphasizes the idea of “30”, creating a collection of 30 pairs of Asics inspired by Kith’s signature palette. Drawing inspiration from Kith products that have released over the brand’s 9-year timeline, “The Palette” showcases 30 unique colorways strategically chosen to shape a vibrant gradient of enhanced Asics.

With each model featuring a tonal premium pigskin suede upper and a subtly contrasting tonal sole unit, the classic split tongue continues to be the highlight of this silhouette, while featuring debossed logos – “30” on the left shoe and “Fieg” in the Asics font on the right. Co-branded details are also seen on the footbeds of each pair, accompanied by custom packaging and three sets of extra laces.

Worth an estimated $‌250.00 USD, all 30 pairs of the Ronnie Fieg for Asics “The Palette” will release on Black Friday, November 27th, at all Kith shops and at 11AM EST on Kith.com. Brand enthusiasts can thus expect a diverse range of colors including, Battleship, Hurricane, Monsoon, Argon, Echo, Genesis, Torpedo, Asteroid, Elevation, Avalanche, Saddle, Mantle, Quicksand, Molecule, Pyramid, Magma, Rogue, Dusty Mauve, French Clay, Dusty Quartz, Monarch, Astro, Plaster, Hallow, Waffle, Anchor, Majestic, Summit, Helium, and Chalk.
