Boat Lagoon Yachting (BLY) held its three-day rendezvous and charity festival on Phuket’s west coast as VIP guests and yacht owners enjoyed cruises to and from Kamala Beach, watersports, great music and parties on yachts and on land, and special menus curated by chefs.

The regional dealer partnered with Café Del Mar beach club to hold a charity festival, with proceeds donated to both Chalong Hospital, for its new emergency and trauma sector, and the Phuket Has Been Good To Us foundation.

The first day started with a convoy of over a dozen yachts cruising from Boat Lagoon Marina on the island’s east coast to Kamala beach on the west. Among the yachts were a Princess Y85, P82, P78, P68, S65, P64, a Prestige 500 charter yacht and a Sacs Strider11 luxury RIB.

On the first night at the beach club, guests were welcomed with special dance performances and a fire show from Café Del Mar, a fireworks extravaganza by Boat Lagoon Yachting and music from the likes of DJ Dome and DJ Plawan.

On the second day, guests enjoyed a full day of activities on the yachts including authentic Thai massage, yoga classes, live music from Bebop Jazz bar and a mixologist onboard.

Families and friends also indulged in water activities such as the Boat Lagoon Yachting water park, water toys, jetski and stand-up paddleboards.

Special VIP guests and celebrities were hosted for the ‘Experience the Exceptional cruise by Princess Yachts’ on the luxurious Princess 68 and Princess 64, cruising from Kamala beach south to Patong beach.

Guests savoured spectacular views and an impressive sunset as they cruised along Phuket’s west coast. The party continued in the evening as DJ Songkran & DJ Mizuyo spun the night away.

On Sunday, a special kids’ zone was organised with special entertainment by magician Bozo and activities such as cotton-candy making and face painting.

However, the highlight was the exhilarating Boat Lagoon Yachting water park where kids and adults alike enjoyed a floating obstacle course.
