Aston Martin DB10

has unveiled the DB10 during the 24th James Bond movie announcement yesterday at Pinewood Studios in London.

The DB10 will star in the new movie called Spectre, a reference to the global terrorist organization from Ian Fleming’s James Bond novels.

Following the unexpected reveal, Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer, announced that the car isn’t a concept.

It was built specifically built for the film, and the company worked closely with director Sam Mendes to deliver what it calls the ultimate car for the world’s most famous spy.

However, for Bond-loving existing Aston Martin drivers there is good news, the DB10 will be going into extremely limited production.

Just 10 bespoke models are planned, which will make it the rarest car in the company’s history to carry a DB badge.

Although specific details, such as engine size and performance figures are still unconfirmed, the DB10 is clearly based on the existing two-door, two-seat Vantage super coupé so expect a V12 engine and a top speed of over 200mph, and a host of envious glances.
