As if his exhibition, Hats: An Anthology, at the Victoria & Albert Museum wasn’t enough of a treat, Stephen Jones has collaborated with Champagne house Perrier-Jouet to create another suitably indulgent treat: a personalised, limited edition leather hatbox and matching hat.

One of just 8 individual collector’s items available in the UK, the hatbox is a work of art in itself – handmade by Italian craftsmen using white leather, natural green silk and gold thread.

Filled with luxury Belle Epoque champagne accessories, it represents the ultimate travelling case for footloose champagne lovers, containing a Christofle silver ice bucket designed for Perrier-Jouët, two hand-blown anemone flutes and a bottle of Belle Epoque 1999.

Britain’s own Stephen Jones has designed an original anemone creation to complement the hatbox, inspired by Belle Epoque’s iconic bottle design.

As a strictly limited piece his stunning hat is a must-have accessory for this year’s summer season.

Stephen is a world famous master of his craft and was the obvious choice for the “Outstanding Achievement Award” at the British Fashion Awards 2008.

Founded in 1811, The House of Perrier-Jouët has long been associated with the creative arts, perhaps most famously in 1902, when Art Nouveau protagonist Emile Gallé created the eye-catching enameled anemone bottle for Cuvée Belle Epoque.

To be available exclusively through the Harrods By Appointment service and Harrods wine shop, retailing together at £5,000 ($7,500).
