The Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai is more than just an accommodation option for those who wish to soak in the luxurious city. Situated along the belt of Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed road, the hotel boasts all the amenities one would expect of a hotel under the Shangri-La group. Consisting of 302 rooms and suites, the hotel is yet another landmark that stands out along the highway. Just a stone’s throw away from the Dubai Mall, that happens to be a haven for those who love shopping.

Spanning 42 stories, the décor of the hotel is sleek and elegant. In the atrium, are Lasvit chandeliers in shades of gold, ruby and sapphire that add a touch of grandeur. Having been completed less than a year ago, the newly refurbished lobby is just another example of how Dubai takes pride in its status as a hub of luxury. Walking through the doors of the Shangri-La Hotel Dubai, one cannot help but be struck by the interesting artwork featuring hundreds of books in various languages. This further highlights the diverse groups that live in the United Arab Emirates. Known for being a business hotel, the Shangri-La Dubai is one that caters to your every need, an example of the excellent service that is provided to guests at all Shangri-La hotels.

Like the lobby, the rooms are also fitted with luxurious amenities that make your stay an enjoyable one. Of the 302 rooms and suites, the guest rooms are separated into seven categories. Boasting views of the sea and the Burj Khalifa, you may find it difficult to choose between the options presented to you. Equipped with a flat screen smart TV, writing desk, you will find yourself wanting for nothing more than to sit back and soak in the beauty of Dubai, from the comfort of your room. The bathroom in each guest room is fitted with a separate bathtub and shower that allow you to wind down after a long journey or tiring day. Getting in touch with the trends, are the in-room meditative post cards that are provided with coloured pencils and a sharpener. Guests are encouraged to colour in the familiar views to reap the benefits of calming the mind — a method similar to meditation.

For those who qualify for the Horizon Club, you can enjoy private check-in and check-out as well as access to the Horizon Club Lounge that allows you to enjoy the indoor infinity pool. Should you manage to tear yourself away from your room, then we suggest heading over to one of the three restaurants that serve up noodles, dim sum, sushi, sashimi, Chinese, Indian and even Vietnamese cuisines. Spoilt for choice, guests can also grab a drink at ikandy ultra lounge, an outdoor venue that serves poolside cocktails, shisha.
