CAUDRELIER Charles (CHINA)
One of Franceā€™s best offshore sailors, Caudrelier madeĀ the step from success in the Solitaire du Figaro andĀ the Transat Jacques-Vabre to play a key role onboardĀ winning boat Groupama in 2011-12. He returned the following race as skipper of Dongfeng Race Team,Ā writing a new chapter in Chinaā€™s sailing history – andĀ lines up with a solid, mixed crew for a third consecutive edition in 2017-18. Caudrelier is tough, honest andĀ experienced – and he is willing to share his skills withĀ the Chinese sailors to help progress towards a fullĀ Chinese crew in future races. Caudrelier is a merchant navy officer by trade.

EVANS Mark (CHINA)
Evans is the Managing Director of McConaghy BoatsĀ in Zhuhai. Specialists in bespoke racing yachts,Ā McConaghy shipyard built the award-winningĀ superyacht Adasta, and also the VO70 Green Dragon,Ā and the first (and last) Chinese IACC entry, CHN95.Ā The list of nautical excellence is almost endless.

FONG Nan (CHINA)
As a forward-thinking boat owner, Fong set up theĀ Da Mei Sha Marina and Yacht Club, one of the fewĀ marinas in southern China, which can accommodateĀ superyachts up to 40 metres long.

FOK Eric (CHINA)
As Commodore of Nansha Marina, Fok conceived andĀ executed the first 5 gold anchor marina in China with 300Ā plus berths at the Human Gate on the Pearl River. LocatedĀ near where the Opium Wars were fought, the marina designĀ reflects the history of the region. Nansha Marina hosted theĀ Guangzhou stopover of the 2017-2018 Volvo Ocean Race.

Li is founder of Speedo Marine in 2003.Ā The company represents several major yachtĀ brands in China, including the Ferretti group,Ā Fountaine Pajot, Prestige and Jeanneau powerĀ and sailing yachts. Headquartered in Shenzhen,Ā Speedo Marine has seven sales and serviceĀ centres along the China coastline

LI Quan Hai (CHINA)ā€Ø
Li is a Vice President of International SailingĀ Federation (ISAF) and the past President ofĀ the ChinaĀ Yachting Association (CYA). OverĀ the years he has been closely associated withĀ China Cup International Regatta, and he is nowĀ Vice Director of the Chinese NationalĀ Aquatic Administration Centre.

TAN Xuguang (CHINA)
Tan is the Chairman of the SHIG-Weichai Group, whichĀ acquired a controlling interest in the Ferretti Group withĀ a total investment of ā‚¬374 million and Tan becoming theĀ Chairman of FerrettiĀ S.p.A in 2012. The Ferretti GroupĀ retained its key management team, headquarters andĀ production bases in Italy.

WANG Chao Yong (CHINA)
Wang is founding partner and CEO of China EquityĀ group since 1999, a China-based independentĀ ventureĀ capital firm focusing on the technology, media andĀ telecommunications sectors in Greater China. As co-Chairman of China Team, the first Chinese competingĀ team of the Americaā€™s Cup, Wang invested recentlyĀ in luxury automotive and yachting with ambitious developments ahead.

WANG Jian Lin (CHINA)
As Chairman of the Dalian Wanda Group, he acquired,Ā ownership of yacht builder Sunseeker in a deal worthĀ Ā£320 million in 2013, Wang then said, ā€œWe wanted toĀ buy 30 Sunseeker yachts since we are planning to buildĀ three marinas in China. We then thought it would be aĀ better dealĀ if we just bought the company.ā€

WANG Ming Liang (CHINA)
Wang is the Managing Director of the Shanghai UBMĀ Sino Expo International Exhibition Co, which runs theĀ China (Shanghai) International Boat Show and also hosts the Asia Marine and BoatingĀ Awards (AMBA).

XU LiJia (CHINA)
Trained as a swimmer, ā€œGolden Lilyā€ beganĀ racing Optimists at the age of 10, then moved onĀ to the Laser Radial class and won the World TitleĀ in 2006. At the London Olympics in 2012, she won a gold medal in the same class and wasĀ voted ISAF Rolex Sailor of the Year.

YANG Xinfa (CHINA)
Being active in the boat building business inĀ China, Yang is Chairman of the China BoatĀ Industry and Trade Association; he acts asĀ a driving force behind the Asia Marine andĀ Boating Awards andĀ the China (Shanghai)Ā International Boat Show.

ZHANG Xiaodong (CHINA)
The current President of the China YachtingĀ Association, Zhang is a Chinese sailor who won theĀ Silver Medal in Womenā€™s Windsurfer in the 1992Ā Summer Olympics in Barcelona. Her appointmentĀ is welcomed by the sailing community in China,Ā which has grown significantly in recent years.

ZHAO Xuhung (CHINA)
Zhao is the Chairman of Shenzhen-basedĀ Sundiro Holdings, which acquired 22 perĀ cent of SanlorenzoĀ in 2013, and in 2015Ā purchased an initial 10 per cent equityĀ in Simpson Marine with the intention toĀ gradually increase its stake over three years.

ZHONG DavidĀ (CHINA)
CEO of the China CupĀ International Regatta. The eventĀ is the biggest keelboat sailing event in China. The regatta isĀ now in its 12th year and has fourĀ one-design fleets: Beneteau 40.7,Ā ASAF Class, FarEast 28R, J/80 that are available for charter.
