Custom Line is set to debut its shortest yacht, the four-deck Navetta 30, after this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival due to enforced delays.

Custom Line only expects to complete its new Navetta 30 in October due to enforced delays due to the Covid-19, so will be unable to stage the world premiere of its smallest model at September’s Cannes Yachting Festival as originally planned.

The Custom Line Navetta 30 is just 93ft 3in, with a waterline length of just 78ft 3in

Filippo Salvetti designed the 93ft Custom Line Navetta 30, which has four decks

Featuring four decks, the wide-body Navetta 30 has an overall length of just 93ft 3in (28.43m), a 78ft 3in waterline length and a 24ft beam, and joins a Navetta displacement line featuring 33, 37 and 42 models, alongside a planing line (106’, 120’).

The model is the first Custom Line yacht to feature an exterior by Filippo Salvetti, who designed the new Ferretti Yachts 670 and its upcoming 500 and 1000. A new hull has been designed to host large volumes, and offer good performance and low consumption.

The Navetta 30 is also the first Custom Line with an interior by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV). Accommodation comprises a full-beam owner’s suite and lounge on the main deck and four VIP cabins and a crew area on the lower deck. The upper deck features a dining area, lounge and integrated bridge, while there’s a large sun deck to top it off.

ACPV’s interior design scheme is a contemporary take on traditional maritime style and features a lot of teak. ‘Sporty chic’ is added by carbon detailing, textured quartz-fibre and fibreglass surfaces, sophisticated lacquer, and fabrics with ultramarine blue stripes.

Built-in furniture was specially designed and made using natural leather, solid wood and plywood. ACPV offers clients furnishing solutions in two moods: the fresh, youthful Texture and the more classic Wooden.

Patricia Viel, co-founder of ACPV, said: “The interior design was developed in partnership with the engineers and architects who designed the hull, enabling us to control every single volume perfectly. This ensures the lighting and interior design schemes fit in flawlessly around the shape of the hull.”

The yacht also features advanced soundproofing based on analysis of noise sources and a floating floor that reduces sound from the engine room to the living areas, while also softening the sound of footsteps.

Twin MAN I6 800mhp engines give a top speed of 14 knots and a transatlantic range of 2,150nm at 10 knots, while MAN V8 1000mhp, as fitted on the first unit, and MAN V8 1200mhp are other options. The yacht is equipped with stabilising fins, which can be fitted in conjunction with Seakeeper systems on request.

Stefano de Vivo, Ferretti Group’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “The new Custom Line Navetta 30 takes us into a new dimension in design. Due to the huge success enjoyed by the new Navetta generation, we want every new project to have the sensational verve of a masterpiece. The Navetta 30 meets this requirement and takes a stunning step forward in the quest to offer owners and their guests incomparable well-being.”
