Razer CEO Tan Min Liang Announces Industrial Mobilisation to fight Coronavirus

A few days after LVMH announced its mobilisation of industrial resources to fight the coronavirus with free hand sanitiser, Singapore tech CEO Tan Min Liang has announced his company- Razer, headquartered in Silicon Valley will retool it’s production lines from high-performance gaming hardware, software and systems to protective wear.

In light of the ban on global exports and extreme shortages of surgical masks used by frontline healthcare staff, in the battle against the coronavirus, the designers and engineers at Razer have worked tirelessly to convert the company’s existing manufacturing lines in order to produce the necessary personal protective equipment.

With a goal of distributing at least 1 million masks to health officials on a global scale, the brand is currently in the process of extending its olive branch toward both local and regional South-East Asian authorities.

Encouraging individuals to remain indoors, avoid crowded spaces and maintain good hygiene, Razer is committed to contributing extra time, resources, effort and talent toward the fight against the global pandemic.
