Bentley launches Home Collection in Paris

Developed in cooperation with Italian-based Luxury Living Group, the Bentley Home Collection consists of a wide range of furniture.

British luxury car maker Bentley is debuting its extended home collection of equally luxurious furniture at Paris’s design salon Maison&Objet.

Minister Sofa

A collaboration with Italian furniture makers the Luxury Living Group, the new pieces follow on from a capsule collection of home and office furnishings that Bentley presented in 2013.

The pieces, on show in Paris this week, include sofas and armchairs inspired by Bentley’s in-car craftsmanship and were developed by the architect Carlo Colombo with Daniele Ceccomori, Bentley’s Head of Product Design.

Richmond Bed

Described as an exercise in subtlety, the collection’s color palette is natural and blends tones like mocha and cognac with deep purple-reds, blues and even brick. Materials used mirror those gracing a Bentley interior — wool, cashmere, silk, leather and, of course, wood.

The new pieces in full:

Minister Sofa
A well-proportioned sofa where the quality of the materials is allowed to come to the fore. It can be designated with a fabric or leather finish.

Butterfly Sofa and Armchair
A two-piece set that more closely than the other elements of the collection reflect’s Bentley’s current in-car interior design ethos. Quilted diamond pattern stitching, and a palette that reflects the best in classical male tailoring such as hints of grey and pinstripe used to finish the armchair.

Richmond Bed
The bed features a unique double shell construction that cocoons the occupants. It also uses iridescent sand-colored wool as a headboard liner and finds the right balance between femininity and masculinity.

Ambassador Sideboard
A gunmetal frame with an optional lava-colored leather, briar root or Ebony Macassar veneer.

Harlow Armchair
A reimagining of the director’s chair, finished in cognac-colored leather and a gunmetal frame.
