The World Blockchain Summit 2018 heads to South Korea this July.

As part of the World Blockchain Summit 2018, the Global Blockchain Foundation (GBF) will be bringing the first Korea Blockchain Summit 2018 to COEX, Seoul on the 12th and 13th of July this year. It will kick off GBF’s cluster of events within the region that includes Japan, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

The Korea Blockchain Summit 2018 will see blockchain proponents and insiders in the country sharing ideas and innovations with their western counterparts. Likely to be present are representatives from cryptocurrency exchanges, start-ups and government officials who will be keen to see the latest developments in the sphere.

South Korea is currently the third biggest cryptocurrency market in the world after Japan and the United States. Some speculators predict that it may become the first crypto-powered nation. Digital asset ownership in the nation is a mainstream concept with some estimating that 33% of the adult population to hold some form of cryptocurrency.

As such, an all-star line-up of keynote speakers will be present to speak on issues regarding blockchain innovation, expansion and adoption. Among those confirmed include David Drake.  He is the founder and chairman at LDJ Capital that deals in worldwide funds that has access to over US$1.5 trillion in assets with more than 50 global directors and family office partners.

Another notable speaker is Gregor Koželj who is the CEO and founder of X8 Currency. Koželj is the man behind the core design features of the ioNectar platform that combines traditional investment strategies and perspectives with today’s advanced methodologies.
