Aditus: Bringing the Luxury Lifestyle to Crypto-affluents

Launch of Aditus Token Sale at Aditus.net and companion app provides mutual access, serving the needs of both crypto-affluents and luxury merchants and bridging the current market gap.

Collectively, the value of cryptocurrencies is sky-rocketing in value. Among them, bitcoin, the first and most well-known crypto-currency, has increased seven-fold in the last year. According to Coinmarketcap, some alt-coins have even seen a growth of a few thousand percent over the last two years.

In June 2017, CNBC interviewed high school dropout Erik Finman. Finman is among the first wave of a new community identified as “crypto-affluents”. Finman began investing in bitcoin as early as 2011, becoming a minted millionaire at the tender age of 18 a few years later. But not many are as forthcoming about their identities to the public as evident by Forbes’ 7 July 2017 opinion editorial of a young, former software engineer who travels the world with his newfound wealth comprising USD25 million of bitcoin profits.

Referred to only as “Mr Smith”, his is one of many examples of those who have capitalised on the token sale boom, and its 24-7 trading opportunities, who are now a new breed of exceedingly wealthy “crypto-affluents”.

Aditus: Bringing the Luxury Lifestyle to Crypto-affluents

“Crypto-affluents” is a term coined by Julian Peh, co-founder of Aditus, the latest company to join the emerging breed of companies creating market applications to bridge gaps in the market.  Named for the Latin word for “access”, Aditus created to be the world’s first luxury access platform bridging luxury merchants and crypto-affluents on a revolutionary decentralised network.

” … in our conversations with them, we have received feedback that while many crypto-affluents desire goods and services offered by luxury merchants, they still lack access to it, and often feel excluded. ” – Julian Peh, Aditus Co-founder

“We have noticed increasing numbers of such crypto-affluents at our luxury events,” says Julian Peh, a co-founder of Aditus and a veteran entrepreneur in the luxury space. “However, in our conversations with them, we have received feedback that while many crypto-affluents desire goods and services offered by luxury merchants, they still lack access to it, and often feel excluded. At the same time, luxury merchants (our long-time partners & clients) similarly have limited means of reaching out to crypto-affluents, despite going through a period of slowing growth and are eager for new business.”

Aditus was designed as a solution to present market gaps:

  • Few luxury merchants accept cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins or Altcoins through a lack of payment gateway implementations
  • Crypto-users who prefer higher than average privacy and luxury merchants who require more data for better market targeting
  • Luxury industry presently lacks knowledge to reach and make exclusive offers to crypto-affluents

This apparent disconnect is essentially a potentially missed trillion dollar opportunity. As such, the launch of Aditus looks to become the definitive decentralised, blockchain-based platform for luxury brands looking to reach this growing community by integrating encryption and smart invitations (built upon Ethereum’s smart contract technology) that invites crypto-users into a world of luxury lifestyle, products and services discreetly.

Founded by veteran entrepreneurs with over 50 years experience in the luxury and technology sphere, Aditus is also backed by prominent crypto-pioneers and former C-level executives from renowned luxury brands, giving some indication as to how this start-up is uniquely poised to leverage both luxury merchants and a database of fiat-millionaires into the Aditus network.

At its heart, Aditus is a smartphone app that allows crypto-users to make purchases with Aditus tokens  – made available through an Initial Token Sale – and other major crypto-currencies securely, while the merchants receive payments in the denominated currency of their choice.

On the merchant end, a merchant console serves as primary interface between luxury merchants and Aditus. This platform is then used by the merchants to create Smart Invitations for dissemination to Aditus users who have indicated their preferences. Merchants need to spend Aditus tokens to create these invitations as well as to fund rewards for the shoppers.

“To ensure best-in-class technology, Aditus is in partnership with some of the most prominent blockchain companies in the world. Roll-out initiatives are also planned in collaboration with these companies.” – Julian Peh

Partnering some of the leading blockchain companies in the world, the Aditus app enables luxury merchants to engage crypto-affluents with events, products and services through their personal devices. Furthermore, Aditus also offers paid membership programs for app users to enjoy a slew of luxury rewards including concierge services and first dibs on exclusive products and services; as well as premium hospitality establishments around the globe.

Peh adds, “To ensure best-in-class technology, Aditus is in partnership with some of the most prominent blockchain companies in the world. Roll-out initiatives are also planned in collaboration with these companies. Additionally, Aditus will also organise frequent events, meant to increase interactions between fiat affluents and the crypto-space, between crypto-affluents and lifestyle providers, as well as between fiat affluents and crypto-affluents themselves. Through the Aditus app, the most exclusive experiences, establishments, products and services globally are all accessible to crypto-affluents, right through their smartphones.”
