South Korean pop star Rain attended yesterday the grand opening of the IWC Schaffhausen flagship store at the 1881 Heritage Boutique in Hong Kong.

IWC Schaffhausen (International Watch Co.) is a famous high-end Swiss watch manufacturer and Rain was personally invited for this grand opening.

French soccer star Zinedine Zidane who joined the brand’s army of ambassadors in 2008 was also in attendance for the opening.

Zidane cut the ribbon for the grand opening, drank champagne, and mingled with Rain and the other invited guests.

The dinner after took place at Hullett House, the new boutique hotel located at the colonial site.

Echoing the feel of a gentleman’s club, the new store carries IWC’s most popular designs and presents it in elegant and sophisticated settings with each room specifically designed according to the company’s watch families- the Portuguese, Da Vinci, Ingenieur, Aquatimer and Pilot’s watches.

The new flagship boutique not only displays an extensive selection of watches but is also unique in featuring the new “IWC Collection”.

The “IWC Collection” items and accessories are produced in extremely small quantities and are available exclusively through the flagship boutique in Hong Kong.
