TAG Heuer unveiled its so called most expensive connected watch priced at a whopping US$180,000. From modular constructions to materials of its current connected watches, the Swiss watchmaker has always placed emphasis on technical advancements but has recently turned to dipping its Connected Modular 45 Smartwatch (originally priced US$1600) in abundance of diamonds and white gold.

A Diamond Studded TAG Heuer

As flamboyant as its name, the TAG Heuer Connected Full Diamond is adorned with a total of 589 VVS diamonds – a clarity just below the two highest grade of Internally Flawless and Flawless. Holding the diamonds together is a 45mm case is made in 18k polished white gold, adding an extra blinding amount of bling to the watch.

The most extraordinary feature, however, is the interchangeable function driven by the modular concept. The smart screen can now be swapped with a mechanical watch head powered by a calibre 5 movement in thoughtfulness of making the watch a worthy investment in case of smartwatches going obsolete in the future.
