There are rumours afoot that Tiffany & Co. and Supreme will be releasing a range of collaborative pieces very soon. The news follows the first look at the Supreme x True Religion collab. Streetwear leak accounts on social media predict the collaboration will be a major highlight of the Fall/Winter 21 season.

The rumours started swirling when professional skateboarder Tyshawn Jones was allegedly spotted wearing a potential piece from the collaboration at the unveiling of his mural this weekend.

Based in New York City, Tiffany & Co. has been collaborating with contemporary artists such as Daniel Arsham, who recently created limited-edition sculptures of the brand’s iconic blue box. Tiffany & Co. also recently recruited superstars Jay-Z and Beyonce as brand ambassadors.

Founded in 1837, the brand is known for its signature sterling silver jewellery. Tiffany & Co. was acquired by LVMH earlier this year, and Alexandre Arnault is the brand’s new executive vice president. He was formerly the CEO of Rimowa, a brand that is no stranger to streetwear collaborations. Past Rimowa collabs include brands such as Off-White, and of course, Supreme.

Supreme, also established in New York City, was launched in 1994 by James Jebbia. Targeted at the skateboarding and hip hop cultures, the brand has become one of the world’s most coveted brands. Originally, the only place to cop Supreme goods was at the brand’s flagship store in Manhattan. Now, however, Supreme now has 10 stores across US, UK, France and Japan.

Brand collaborations continue to create hype among fans, and in recent times there have been a few intriguing examples. A-COLD-WALL* and Dr Martens recently partnered up to release a reimagined version of the 1461 boots. This is the second time the two brands have collaborated, the first time being in 2020.

Steve Aoki and Zegna have also partnered up to create a fresh new look on Zegna’s iconic Triple Stitch sneaker. The collaboration is part of the brand’s aim to redefine how men’s wardrobes should look in modern times.
