Cassina LC4 Chaise Longue

This chic chaise longue (or lounger) was designed for premium support and comfort, as devised by its preeminent designer — Le Corbusier. The renowned architect was deeply involved in the designing of furniture pieces on top of his illustrious architectural projects.

Conceived in 1928, this striking and iconic furniture piece was designed by two more design greats – Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. However, it was not put into production until 1965. The most notable part of this lounger is the polished trivalent chrome-plated steel frame which sits on the seat base.

It can be tilted back and forth to suit your angle and preference. Designed for total relaxation based on its geometric purity and ergonomic aesthetic, it remains one of the world’s beloved loungers. As dupes are aplenty, ensure there is a Cassina logo and serial number together with the signature of Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand at the base of the chrome frame. There is another Cassina logo at one of the bases of the leg frames.

Herman Miller Eames Lounger

It is undoubtedly the icon of Mid-Century Modern furniture design. Devised in 1956 by husband-and-wife Charles and Ray Eames, this must-have lounger has found its place in many glamourous homes, posh offices, and chic public spaces.
