Maybach Zeppelin is a new limited-edition variant of the famous luxury car that every driver, who seeks something extra special, knows.

Only 100 examples will be produced worldwide, and one of these has a famous owner: Bernie Ecclestone, Formula One boss.

At the Geneva Motor Show, this high-class car received a premiere for its unique sense of style and its incredible performance.

The new Maybach Zeppelin will be a successor to the 1930s car of the same name, which was the company’s top-end luxury model at that time.

This new model features the highest quality paint finish, meticulously crafted materials in the interior, the California beige leather and the genuine lambskin carpets, exquisite piano lacquer finish of the trim elements, an unusual diamond quilting pattern on the Seat cushions and luxury optional as a highly sophisticated perfume atomiser with two select fragrances, which have been exclusively developed for Maybach by Givaudan.

The Maybach Zeppelin is the most powerful Maybach ever, it will be fitted with Mercedes-Benz’s 6.0 litre V12 biturbo power unit under the bonnet, which now delivers 471 kW/640 hp (+ 28 hp) and a peak torque of 1000 Newton metres.

There are two variants feauturing different optional: the Maybach 57 Zeppelin that costs €406,000 and the Maybach 62 Zeppelin that is priced at €473,200.

The perfume atomiser can be ordered for an extra €3950.

The new Maybach Zeppelin goes on sale on 3 March 2009, but the first models will be delivered to customers in September 2009.

Do you think that Ecclestone will appreciate this new model? He has already had 3 Maybach, but he has never driven one…..
